Javi’s – Midland now has two Mexican food buffets. I live close to Javi’s and was pleasantly surprised to learn about it. It is located on the corner of Midland and Wadley, behind McAlister’s, and Szechuan House. Menu Updated 5/5/2024. View Menu Here.

El Capitan – Located in the old Tampico Spanish Inn, (which we miss very much), is a newer restaurant. El Capitan! What an awesome name. I hope they do well. They serve up traditional Tex-Mex flair, with lunch and dinner options. Menu Updated 5/1/2024.  View Menu Here.

Don Pedro Tacos & Tortas – Find the Torta of your dreams across the street from the Good Will store. It is located on Illinois Ave, a few doors from J Peno’s. It serves up a simple menu of Mexican delicacies and favorites. Menu Updated 4/30/2024. View Menu Here.

El Rio Bravo – You’ll find El Rio Bravo in the Gateway Plaza next to Woody’s Hideaway and down the street from Cinergy Midland. They serve breakfast and lunch most days and are closed on Sundays.
