Moon Garden

 

Moon Garden is located at 2319 State Highway 250 Loop Frontage Rd right past Best buy. You can slip in by the 7-11 off of Garfield and come around. They are open from Tuesday through Friday from 11 am to 2:30 pm and 5 pm to 9:30 pm, and Saturday from 11 am to 9:30 pm and Sunday from 11 pm to 9 pm. Come by anytime for some great Chinese food.

Back in the Day Cafe 

 What a name, "The Back in the Day Café" I am excited! They just opened earlier this year in the old Michael's Illinois location at the Corner of Midland and Illinois. It is located right across the street from the Good Will Store. Midland needs more local flavor, so we are always excited when places like this open. They are open Monday through Friday from 11 am to 2 pm and 5 pm to 9 pm, and Saturday from 11 am to 9 pm and they are closed on Sunday Update: This place is awesome. Worth every penny. It reminds me of a Babes Fried Chicken. You will be so stuffed. One of the best chicken fried steaks in Midland! They also serve their salads with Wall Street Bar and Grill's Dressing on them! Wow Second Update: They are not family style anymore,  but the portions are still huge and delicious. Go visit, please see picture below if you need more encouragement.

What I know them for is a really good breakfast; you can get a big plate of migas, a really killer burrito. This place is often overlooked, but trust me it’s worth your time to stop in for a visit.

Graham Pharmacy Menu

 

Graham Pharmacy is truly a Midland, treasure. Several of my co-workers and friends that are originally from Midland grew up going to this place. First, off it’s not just a pharmacy, it’s a gift shop and a soda fountain old-timey sandwich shop. So theoretically you go in to fill a prescription, buy a birthday present, and eat some delicious lunch all at one time. The secret of Midland Tip #455. Wednesdays they have a lunch special, it always sells out fast, and it’s different from week to week. You can call as early as Monday to see what it’s going to be. Anything from Meatloaf to Enchiladas. Each week is its own surprise. Graham Pharmacy is located at 1601 West Wall Street. The sandwich shop is open Monday thru Friday from 8:00 to 6:00, and Saturday from 9:00 to 5:00. They are closed on Sundays. Call 432-684-5756 for takeout orders. They also have a newer location across town at 4906 Briarwood Ave.
